| Check | How to check it | Mahalaxmi Hardware & Electricals |
|---|---|---|
| Dealer certificates | Ask to see the brand's paper, not a sticker. | Authorised Astral Pipes, Sintex, Europa and OSCARS dealer; the certificates are framed at the counter and photographed on the About page. |
| Range under one roof | Count the categories, not the shelves: a plumber's list and an electrician's list should both close in one visit. | 35+ brands across plumbing, electrical, tools, locks, chemicals and safety at Shop No 9; sanitaryware and faucets next door at Shop No 5. |
| Billing | A GST invoice with the shop's GSTIN on it is what a builder, society or insurer will accept. | GST invoice on every order. Mahalaxmi Hardware & Electricals GSTIN 27AFVPP8063J1ZJ; Mahalaxmi Ceramics GSTIN 27DLKPP9432H1ZK. |
| Delivery | Ask what happens to the material that is in stock today and what the cut-off time is. | Same-day delivery on in-stock items across Pune and PCMC when the order comes in before 4 PM; statewide dispatch for Astral agriculture pipes and OSCARS gloves. |
| Reviews you can read yourself | Open the Google listing and read the recent ones, including the owner's replies. | Google rating 4.5 from 85 reviews on 28 October 2026: read them on Google Maps. |
| Hours | A shop that is shut on Sunday is no help on the one day most homeowners can meet the plumber. | Open seven days: Monday to Saturday 9 AM to 9 PM, Sunday 9 AM to 4 PM. |
| Spares and advice | A good counter prices the whole list, flags substitutions and stocks the small spares. | Bring the plumber's or electrician's list, on paper or on WhatsApp; we price every line and say which items are on the counter and which are on order. |
