Our story

It started with one shop on Paud Road.

Mahalaxmi Hardware & Electricals opened in 2002 with a simple promise — that a small shop in Kothrud could match the trust, range, and price of any large supplier in Pune. Twenty-four years later, the shop is still on Paud Road. Most of the customers from those early days are still customers. Many of them are now sending their children to us for their first home renovation.

Today the group operates as two distinct, GST-registered firms from the same building. Mahalaxmi Hardware & Electricals handles plumbing pipes, electrical supplies, power tools and hardware — an authorized dealer for Astral, Polycab, Bosch, Hilti, Makita, Godrej and Yale among others. Mahalaxmi Ceramics handles bath fittings, sanitary ware and ceramics — authorized for Jaquar (including the premium Artize and Fusion ranges), Hindware, Parryware, Grohe, Cera and more.

Both firms issue proper GST invoices. Both deliver same-day across Pune. And both are run by the same family — Harshhad and Pravin Parihar — who you'll almost always find at the counter when you call.

He's the one most Pune builders speak to when there's a BOQ to price or a deadline to hit.
